DOUBT dominated the acting categories in today’s Academy Award nominations, receiving more acting nominations than any other film:

Viola Davis for Best Suppporting Actress
Amy Adams for Best Supporting Actress
In addition, the film has picked up the following non-acting nomination:
John Patrick Shanley for Best Adapted Screenplay
This follows a number of awards and nominations for the cast and director/writer, including five Golden Globe Nominations and three BAFTA nominations. DOUBT is released by Miramax Films. The 81st Academy Awards will take place on Sunday February 22, 2009.
